Whereas the Group can trace its roots back to 1928, Household Insurance Services came into existence in 1993. The name Household Insurance Services was carefully chosen to clearly indicate the service being provided.
There are a lot of direct insurers offering their wares and services but at the end of the day they can only promote one range of products, their own. Being completely independent insurance brokers, Household Insurance Services can search a wide range of insurers to obtain the best policy at the most competitive premium to suit a client's individual circumstances. With over 50 different insurance companies to choose from our success rate in finding the right policy for our clients is high.
All our policies are carefully chosen to offer the widest range of cover and options. In fact our policies offer unique optional extensions in cover not normally available elsewhere. For example, accidental damage caused by pets and storm damage to fences and gates, to name but two.
In addition to the above, because of the high volume of business that we transact, we have been able to set up special schemes, at extremely competitive rates, with a few chosen insurers.
